Humanity United’s Board of Trustees announced today that Srik Gopal will be joining the organization as the new Managing Partner. Srik comes to HU from Democracy Fund, where he has served for the past three years as Vice President of Strategy and Program.
“We are delighted to welcome Srik Gopal to Humanity United,” said Pam Omidyar, founder of HU and chair of HU’s Board of Trustees. “Srik shares our values and conviction on cultivating the conditions for a more peaceful and just world."
Srik’s leadership and background in strategy development and impact will inform and enhance HU’s efforts to transform the systems that enable human exploitation and violent conflict. In this role, he will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration and co-creation within HU and engaging with a variety of individuals, organizations, and networks globally.
