Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette: OPINION | BRUCE WESTERMAN: Stop the spree Democrats may think of themselves as modern-day Robin Hoods--taking from the rich to give to the poor--but as they have their way, Arkansas businesses and families are seeing the equivalency of a tax hike in a very sneaky way: through inflation. To put it simply, Democrats are on a spending spree that hardworking Americans cannot afford. Redistricting is Underway On September 29, the Republican-led Legislature of the 93rd General Assembly reconvened to redraw Arkansas' four Congressional Districts. This is the first time in over 150 years that Republican leaders in Arkansas are able to ensure fair and equal representation through transparent processes. The new map of AR's four Congressional districts must pass the House and Senate, which is expected to occur within the next couple of weeks. The Board of Apportionment, which includes our Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Governor, is redrawing State House and State Senate districts.
