A federal judge has temporarily blocked the enforcement of Texas' six-week abortion ban! Only four days after our historic nationwide Rally for Abortion Justice when tens of thousands of us took to the streets, news broke late last night that the law is now on hold!
We knew that Texas and anti-choice Republicans everywhere were going to put up a tough fight to force their restrictive laws into effect — but our message for abortion justice was made clear last weekend. Our voices were heard, John. Now that the Supreme Court has reconvened to hear crucial cases that could determine the fate of Roe v. Wade, we're counting on your urgent support.
Thanks to every single person who showed up in the streets to Rally for Abortion Justice on Saturday, the world saw our power.
Make no mistake — the fact that a federal judge has now blocked this Texas law, even temporarily, is a testament to the strength of our movement for abortion justice.
This happened in huge part because hundreds of thousands of people hit the streets across our nation on Saturday to Rally for Abortion Justice — and together, we made it clear that we won't tolerate any attacks on our reproductive freedom. That we're going to fight until we have abortion access for ALL.
