John, here’s the latest on Henry Cuellar’s lies.
First, Cuellar said he would not support President Biden’s budget. And now, Cuellar is getting ready to celebrate the passage of the budget, even though he has stood in the way of its passage since the beginning.
Cuellar is not truthful to South Texans, and will claim credit for legislation he has not supported. The reality is, it was the progressive coalition that pressured the House to delay a vote on a weakened version of the President’s budget. Without their pressure, the full agenda would not have been considered and full relief for our state would not be a possibility. It was not Cuellar who pushed for the full package — and we’re not sure how he is going to vote.
Henry Cuellar’s lies are getting out of hand — it is time for new leadership in Congress. New leadership guided by integrity and strong values. That’s why Jessica is running for Congress.
