Have you seen the news? CCL’s preferred climate solution — carbon fee and dividend — has made its way onto the center stage of American politics in the budget reconciliation bill.
In case you missed it, The New York Times reported that Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon was drafting potential legislation for fees on carbon emissions. And the Washington Examiner confirmed “signs of life” for carbon pricing in the Senate.
We’re putting all our effort behind getting a price on carbon into budget reconciliation. And, while there’s momentum in the Senate, we still need President Biden’s support. Will you email President Biden today to let him know you support a price on carbon in budget reconciliation?
