For the thousands of homeless veterans in this country, the overarching issue is most often a service-connected disability. That's why DAV is committed to preventing homelessness before it happens and ensuring all veterans get the care they need to heal their visible and invisible wounds.
But it doesn't stop there.
We are by their side every step of the way. Last year, DAV sponsored 145 career fairs to help connect veterans and their spouses with meaningful employment. And our volunteer drivers logged almost 17.7 million miles, making sure veterans can access the lifesaving care they've earned. And the greatest part is that all these services are free for veterans and their families, thanks to DAV supporters like you.
