Just last week, Governor Gavin Newsom announced that California will now have permanent vote-by-mail.
This is huge. It means that every registered voter in the state will get a ballot in the mail for each election without having to request one. It also means that more Californians — and folks in Ro’s district — could be voting than ever before.
This, combined with the fact that Ro’s district could change due to the census, means we need to start mobilizing and introducing new voters to Ro and our progressive message now.
From digital ads to meeting folks on the ground, we know communicating directly with voters is how we win. But funding for these programs — and paying the staff who run them a liveable wage — isn’t cheap.
As one of the only members of Congress who doesn’t accept a single penny from PACs or lobbyists, we can say without a doubt that every single dollar we raise from grassroots supporters like you make a huge difference for our campaign — especially as we try to reach as many voters as possible.
