Team, sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction.

Even after the embarrassing failure of Arizona's "audit" of 2020 election results, more states are following suit and Wisconsin is the latest.

The Wisconsin "audit" is a farce. But it's part of a dangerous trend. It's a dress rehearsal for 2022 and 2024; a way to delegitimize the election system so that partisans can criticize (or even try to reverse) election outcomes that they don't like.

I'm proud to join with Secretaries of State from across the country in condemning these baseless stunts. Will you join me by adding your name too?

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported: "The attorney leading a partisan review of Wisconsin's 2020 election acknowledged this week that he doesn't understand how elections are supposed to be run."

Real post-election audits and reviews, like the kind we have in Minnesota, are not driven by politics or revenge. They're driven by real standards, and data, and integrity.

I'll keep speaking out about what we're seeing in places like Arizona and Wisconsin: Sloppy, after-the-fact, grudge-driven processes that deserve every bit of ridicule and scorn they receive.

Please join me in condemning these fake audits by adding your name. [link removed]

Thanks,

Steve
