John,
Last night, more than a month after SB 8 took effect, a federal judge finally and rightfully corrected course by upholding the constitutional right to abortion care in the United States, temporarily blocking the Texas abortion ban!
We're celebrating this important victory on our long road toward full reproductive freedom.
But we also know that our work is far from over.
As the Supreme Court prepares to hear oral arguments on December 1 in a case to overturn Roe v. Wade, we must continue to elect prochoice champions up and down the ballot.
Stand with us and contribute just $3 to support prochoice champions running for office in our communities and to ensure that the majority of Americans who support reproductive freedom are represented from city halls to the halls of Congress.
This block is a temporary one, and though we are celebrating now, we're not holding our breath. Not as long as anti-choice politicians continue to control state and local governments.
We know abortion access will continue to be on the ballot, and so our work will not stop until accessible abortion care is codified into law across this country.
As always, thank you to all the fierce abortion advocates and abortion providers, and to everyone who pours their time, money, and resources into fighting for abortion access.
Let's celebrate this win, and then we get back to the fight.
