Each day we are seeing disturbing new attacks on voting rights around the country, but right now, we have the opportunity to realize the promise of American democracy and ensure every person - no matter our color, zip code, or income - has an equal say in our democracy.

Recently, the Senate introduced the Freedom to Vote Act, a bold legislative package that would protect our sacred right to vote, end partisan gerrymandering, and tackle dark money in politics.

Right now, it’s time for us to turn up the heat to get the Freedom to Vote Act passed and signed into law and we need you to join us!

On Thursday, October 6th from 3:00-6:00 pm EST and 6:00-9:00 pm EST, we will be calling constituents around the country and patching them to their Senators’ offices to demand that they pass the Freedom to Vote Act. 

Our goal is to get at least 100 calls into targeted Senators’ offices -- but we can’t do it without your help.

These shifts always include training for first-timers before you make calls - so if this is your first time phonebanking, no worries! We'll make sure you feel prepared before you begin.

We know the Freedom to Vote Act is vital for our democracy--that’s why we’re also mobilizing in a new and powerful way by walking, running, biking, and driving to Washington D.C. to rally together on Oct. 23rd to call for the passage of the Freedom to Vote Act.

Join us on Thursday, October 6th for our Freedom to Vote Movement Call with Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King to discuss how we can protect our freedom to vote, including information about our Freedom to Vote Relay and Rally from Oct. 21-23rd.
