Hi John,
It’s no surprise that conservative-led states are leading the way in the post-pandemic economic recovery. Conservative states were not burdened by prolonged shutdowns or excessive government overreach. Instead, leaders provided relief for businesses, cut taxes, and opened states, allowing the economy to recover on its own.
Arizona is a prime example of conservative success. Last week, the governor’s office released a report showing the state had fully recovered pandemic job losses. By re-opening the state, providing incentives to seek work, and keeping jobs at the forefront of policy decisions—Arizona is better off.
Meanwhile, liberal states continue to stall their own recoveries by continuing to increase taxes and to enforce draconian covid measures. And in states like Illinois – they are even refusing to use federal covid funds to protect their citizens from a possible tax increase.
When it comes to leading, conservatives do it best.
