really how I wanted to start my Thursday. 😂

The Philadelphia Inquirer just reported that our Republican opponent wrote
themselves a $3 MILLION check to boost their campaign. They’re spending
the first million right out of the gate on a big TV ad campaign statewide.

Just to put that in context, our entire campaign raised $2.7 million over
the last three months. More than anyone else in PA has raised in any
quarter so far! We’ve had more than 150,000 people chip in. But one
self-funder candidate was just able to write themselves a check and
instantly top our total.

I wish it weren’t this way, John.
But in the last midterms, 8-in-10 Senate races were won by the candidate
who spent the most. So we have to compete dollar for dollar. The good news
is that there’s more of us, and strength in numbers.
