Team -- We were absolutely mortified to hear about the massive oil spill in Orange County this past weekend.

The consequences have been shockingly painful -- nearby wetland reserves were contaminated affecting potentially thousands of birds. Oiled birds and animals have washed ashore and if the spill isn’t cleared soon enough, more wildlife will die.

And we still won’t know the full effect for decades. Previous oil spills’ long-term detrimental effects on both animals and humans are still being studied.

Friend, this is an urgent wake-up call. California and the rest of the United States must transition away from fossil fuels in order to stop the contamination of our environment, water, air, ecosystems, and our own health.
