Pete's Update from the Campaign Trail

Morning in Minnesota

Dear Friend,

Maintaining a fully operational, focused, and energized Republican Party of
Minnesota is a priority we all share. Over the weekend, Republicans from around
the state gathered to elect David Hann as the new chair and I look forward to
working together with him to promote freedom and liberty across our great
state. Now, more than ever, united with an unwavering resolve, there is no
limit to what we can do in the 2022 elections one year from now. Together, we
are going to rise up and fight back against the liberals’ attempts to redesign,
reprogram, and re-engineer our great society. We will keep promoting the values
and ideals that serve as the foundation our great Republic and we will once
again enjoy morning in Minnesota!

With No Apologies to Ilhan Omar – Line 3 is 100% Open!

I hope you, like me, are celebrating the completion of the Line 3 project,
which opened on Friday!! That’s right, after years of illegal protests,
bureaucratic games, and partisan politics, reliable and affordable energy is
now being safely transported through Minnesota and our region is already seeing
the economic boost. Despite what Ilhan Omar and Jane Fonda claim, we must
continue promoting American energy and mining dominance right here in our own
back yards and end our reliance on foreign countries once and for all. Check
out video from Ilhan Omar’s latest rant, where she accuses me of a felony
simply because I support the Line 3 replacement project. Laughable!

For Safety of Our Children, Let's Hold Big Tech Accountable

As a father of four, I empathize with parents facing the enormous challenge of
trying to keep up with the latest and greatest social media platforms their
kids are using. Sadly, the mercurial rise of Big Tech and other social media
platforms coincides with an alarming number of American teens experiencing
mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. As we are seeing, there
is little to no accountability when it comes to Big Tech protecting our kids
online. We owe it to our children to demand transparency from Facebook and
other Big Tech companies, especially as it relates to the harm their products
have on our kids. Read morehere

Nonpartisan Analysis: Spending Bill will ‘Hit Middle-Income Taxpayers Hard’

As you may know, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi put our nation on the verge of a
government shutdown because Congressional Democrats’ insatiable appetite for
reckless, runaway spending of your hard-earned taxpayer money. This time, the
shiny object is their $5.5 Trillion tax-and-spend package that would lead to
the largest tax increase in American history. In fact, the nonpartisan Joint
Committee on Taxation found that “middle-income taxpayers would be hit hard,”
by the Pelosi spending bill. We can’t afford to bury our children and
grandchildren in a mountain of debt. The reckless spending must stop. Read more
