Cheri’s running against a host of Trump-aligned GOP candidates in a wide-open race to replace a retiring Republican — and it’s a race Democrats can win after only losing last year’s Senate race by 1.8 percent.
Florida’s last Senate election was even closer — only 10,033 votes separated the candidates. Now, Val Demings, Barbara’s current colleague in Congress, is running in Florida to unseat one of the GOP’s most infamous senators: Marco Rubio.
Marco is one of Trump’s staunchest allies and has gone all in to appease his base by parroting his Big Lie conspiracy and spreading baseless fear over the integrity of our elections.
From serving the city of Orlando to Florida’s 10th District in the House, Val has always shown up for the people she represents. It’s time to help send her to the Senate to fight for all Floridians.
We can make history next year by electing these two experienced, compassionate leaders. But it’s going to require the support of grassroots Democrats everywhere to get them there.
