🎶 “They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway…” 🎶

Friend, the curtains went up on Broadway last month for the first time since COVID-19 hit our city, and I’m so grateful to all the folks who helped bring back such a bright source of life in New York City.

Because while our attention is usually focused on the actors on stage, there are so many more who put in hard work for the show to go on: from the cleaning crew to street vendors and more, all of New York goes into making Broadway and Times Square everything that it is.

And each one of you who has gotten vaccinated, taken precautions to protect yourself and your families, and encouraged your loved ones to stay safe also deserve a round of applause for helping to make this happen.

I still remember seeing Hamilton for the first time a few years ago, and it remains to this day one of my favorite shows. It’s a celebration and commemoration of New York’s history, the founding of this country, and most importantly, the integral role that immigrants play in building our communities and our cultures.

So I wanted to ask you, friend, what’s your favorite Broadway show and what does it mean to you?

MY FAVORITE BROADWAY SHOW IS… →

As our city has been through so much, we could all take a step back and appreciate how far we’ve come and the vibrance of our culture. I’d love to know your thoughts on Broadway’s reopening – drop a note here!
