Today, a teenager opened fire on classmates at a high school in Arlington, Texas. At least four people were injured and the whole school is shaken.
John, we haven’t seen a high-profile school shooting like this in a while – because our kids have been home. Now, our children are returning to in person learning, and we’re returning to school shootings.
Our children shouldn’t fear being gunned down in school. We do not have to live like this.
My two young kids are back in school – and they’ve already done active shooter drills. I don’t want my kids to be scared at school, and I don’t want to worry about their lives while they’re there. Please, we have to change things.
