I’ll tell you the truth, John: we’re not where we need to be right now.

We’re being outraised by Donald Trump’s handpicked candidate.

Polls have this race virtually tied and The Cook Political Report has us rated as a toss-up.

And early voting is way down — experts are blaming sagging Democratic enthusiasm.

But here’s the good news: we can still fix this.

Terry set a goal of raising $500,000 by midnight tonight. That money is going directly toward our efforts to turn out voters and mobilize our grassroots team.

As long as we can keep hitting our fundraising benchmarks, we’ll raise enough money to out-organize Republicans on the ground, and to stop Glenn Youngkin from drowning us out on TV.

But that starts with tonight’s goal, John. And frankly, it’s looking like we might miss. So I’m asking you to chip in whatever amount you can right now because it’s the only way we’ll be able to right this ship and get on a path to win:
