Detroit DSA is a 1200+ member funded organization. We receive no money from outside sources so we can say things like "Defund the Police" and "Abolish ICE" without losing funding, and we will always act democratically in the interests of our members and the working class! If you're able to, we ask that you make monthly contributions as they more directly benefit our chapter. Happy Autumn comrades! We've got a big weekend ahead with our General Membership Meeting this Saturday as well as one of the last canvasses for our Detroit for All Campaign before Election Day on November 2nd.

We'll hear updates from Detroit For All and the Political Education Committee, plus our comrades from the Labor Working Group want to let you know about the Troublemaker's School in November. We've also got a follow-up discussion from last month's Labor Panel and a group discussion on Leaving Liberalism Behind.

Detroit for All Canvasses
Saturday, October 9th and Sunday, October 10th, 2-5PM

Less than one month remaining until Election Day and we're at 29% of our door knocking target! Here's all the ways you can support the Detroit For All electoral campaign through the home stretch:

• Canvass on Saturday (10/9) at 2PM (after the GM)
  
  
• Canvass on Sunday (10/10) at 2PM
  
  
• Sign up for a future Saturday/Sunday 2PM canvassing shift
  
  
• Sign up for a poll standing shift on Election Day (Tuesday, November 2)
  
  
• Send text messages to voters
  
  
• Donate to the Detroit For All PAC to fund things like a texting campaign, D4A posters, and more literature
  
  
• Take a Landis Spencer yard sign or window sign if you're in Detroit District 6 (respond to this email with your address and we will drop one off)
