Big Pharma and their $15 million worth of corporate lobbying.
Big Pharma, the Chamber of Commerce, and other corporate interests are doing everything they can to stop our Build Back Better Act. It’s why our fight continues — as some of the most powerful interests in the country increase their spending.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, one of the biggest opponents of President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, has spent $30 MILLION on lobbying this year.
Big Pharma, another corporate interest trying to stop investments in working families, has spent $15 MILLION on lobbying efforts in 2021 alone. And the New York Times just reported that Big Pharma is spending ANOTHER $1.5 million on ads supporting the few conservative Democrats opposing Build Back Better.
In the face of this massive corporate spending, we need to come together and show our progressive power. Can you chip in $3 to support my fight to hold the line and deliver economic relief for the people?

I don’t take a cent from corporate PACs or lobbyists. Some of the lawmakers in Congress who take the most campaign contributions from Big Pharma and the fossil fuel industry make up the less than 5% of Democrats opposing the wildly popular Build Back Better Act. This is obvious corporate influence in our politics.
Look, the people elected Democrats so we could deliver for them. That means expanding Medicare, securing universal child care, pre-K, and community college, fighting climate change, and investing in affordable housing.
This is a fight against the rich and powerful in America, and we need to keep up our work to deliver for the people. So, can you make a donation today to stand with me in my fight to pass a Build Back Better Act with economic relief for the people and bold action to fight climate change? $3 or anything at all helps keep our fight strong.
In solidarity,
Pramila
