Dear friend,

We know that Vote Forward letters work to boost voter turnout, even in a wild presidential election year. Ok, we know [they work in a BIG way]([link removed]).

We also know that the elections in Virginia this fall will come down to voter turnout. To help ensure that the candidates elected on November 2 represent the interests of the people in Virginia, we need to encourage as many Virginia voters as possible to cast a ballot this fall.

Virginia voters have important decisions to make, and these decisions also have national implications because the outcome will offer clues about the political environment ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

Let’s work together to make every vote count in Virginia.

To write letters to five (or more!) Virginia voters, [please visit your Vote Forward dashboard.]([link removed]
) These letters mail on Saturday, October 16.

If you can’t write letters for this campaign, we still hope you’ll consider taking action. We’ll be in touch after we mail with other ways you can make an impact in Virginia before Election Day on November 2.

Vote Forward’s work would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers. We’re deeply grateful for all that you do.

Many, many thanks!

—The Vote Forward team

P.S. U.S. Postmaster General DeJoy changed the delivery standard for first-class mail on October 1. This change at USPS impacts first-class mail traveling the greatest distances, adding one to two days for deliveries. We took slower delivery times into consideration when we set our mail dates for Virginia and the bilingual letter campaigns two to three weeks before the elections, so there is no need to mail early unless you are sending your letters from Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the continental U.S. Here is our [Getting Ready to Mail guide]([link removed]) with more information.

P.P.S. Vote Forward is hiring a software engineer! If you’re interested or know someone who would be, [please see the job description on our website]([link removed]).

Our small team works tirelessly to develop new campaigns, analyze data, and improve the letter writing experience for volunteers like you. If you can, please consider [making a contribution to help sustain our efforts over the long term.]([link removed])
