After I voted in support of a resolution condemning the president’s attacks on four of my colleagues as racist, the National Republican Congressional Committee (the GOP House fundraising arm) launched an attack on our campaign.

 

They’re calling me “deranged” and a “socialist.” You and I BOTH know that’s not true -- but it’s efforts like this one that can sway the voters we need to win in order to continue our work in Washington.

 

This attack is directly out of the president’s campaign playbook. National and local GOP operatives know NH-01 is a swing district, and their strategy is to make me out as something I’m not.

 

In 2018 Republicans lost 40 seats, costing them the House majority. Now they’re running what they’ve called a “ruthless” strategy to win back 19 seats to regain control.

 

That means they’ll continue with their baseless attacks in an attempt to dissuade swing voters from supporting me. We need to counter these attacks.

 

Considering their latest attacks, my team and I have revised our communication strategy to ensure voters know who I am and what I stand for, but we’re now $3,258 short of funding our new plan.
