Honoring Our Pastors

Sunday, October 10th, is Pastor Appreciation Day in the United States! We take this day to show our pastors how grateful we are for everything they do. Our pastors perform marriages, baptize believers, and provide comfort to the grieving; they also have historically done much more.

For example, during the American War for Independence, pastors took part in the Battles of Lexington

Throughout our history, pastors have preached on issues that affect their communities. They not only spoke about controversial government actions

In honor of all that pastors have meant and still mean to us, take time to do something special for your pastor. You can: write a note, give a gift (a book or gift card), invite them to a meal, or organize a church-wide event. Remember also to be in prayer for pastors and their families, not only now but throughout the year.

From all of us at WallBuilders, thank you to all pastors for the hard work you do to further the kingdom of God!
