Good evening PPC Members,

I want to thank all of you, for supporting our cause in this 2019 election.
I am grateful and proud that I was able to represent all 562 people who
voted for me. The task laid out before us was monumental, but we rose to
the challenge! We started with 30,000 founding members, and we grew into a
popular vote of 300,000 people. This is an amazing feat!

This incredible effort was all started due to one individual finally having
the bravery and courage to take a stand. Max Bernier decided to do politics
differently. Maxime, decided to have a different opinion than the incumbent
parties and he was able to deliver a new and positive political message. As
a person who follows politics very closely, I was instantly drawn to
Bernier's policies and principles and they still resonate with me. It is
based on these principles that make me determined to continue to fight on
behalf of the PPC. I believe we are the new conservative movement in
Canada, founded on Individual Freedom, Personal Responsibility, Respect and
Fairness. I want all of our membership to know that I will not give up.

Never before in the history of Canada, has a political party formed within
a year and had over 290+ confirmed candidates by election time. We made
history, and I think we will continue to make history but that depends on
how committed we choose to be moving forward, and how many supporters we
can attract. Max has left us with words of encouragement that he is going
to continue to make preparations for the next election. I will join him in
that effort to continue as President of the local EDA. I am not closing the
door on any future election run possibilities but I am open and willing to
explore all candidate possibilities. If we have good candidates then we
will do so democratically and by due process. I think the EDA did our best
with the resources and time-frame we had in 2019.

I would like to invite all of you to a post election EDA meeting. This will
provide us with an opportunity to talk about the election, strategy moving
forward, community outreach and fundraising. We have a talented team of
people that are working on behalf of the local EDA.

I would like to hold the meeting Tuesday October. 29th, at 7:00 PM Smitty's
Restaurant on Henderson. Please RSVP if you plan on attending so I have an
idea of numbers.

Regards,

Martin Deck Pres.
