Hi friends,

You don’t have to be a climate scientist to know our planet is heating up. This July was Alaska’s hottest month on record, and March-August marked the hottest six month period we’ve ever seen.

Alaskans have been at the forefront in dealing with climate volatility. [[link removed]] The increasing water temperatures have caused mass salmon die-offs, and we’ve seen sea ice disappear and wildfires destroy our forests. This is all impacting our ecosystem, economy and way of life.

Yet Don Young has said or done very little to propose solutions to this crisis throughout his time in Washington. In fact, he thinks climate change is just a political “fear tactic.” [[link removed]]

I pledge that I will be an independent voice for every day Alaskans, and I pledge that I will go to Washington and work hard with anyone willing to find comprehensive solutions to climate change.

Join our movement for real Alaska leadership by making a grassroots contribution today» [[link removed]]
