Today is World Teachers' Day, John!

Every day is a great day to celebrate teachers, but today is World
Teachers' Day and I want to set aside a little extra time today to reflect
on all the amazing work our teachers do!

Let's face it: it’s never been tougher to be a teacher. The people charged
with educating our children in the face of an ongoing pandemic over the
past year have experienced everything from exposure to a deadly disease to
attacks on their profession. The work that they do has never been more
critical and more in need of our appreciation.

[ [link removed] ]That’s why I'm asking you to sign our Thank You card for teachers.

The right-wing assault on teachers seems endless sometimes, whether it’s
denouncing honest teaching of American history or eliminating public
health measures to prevent the spread of COVID.

[ [link removed] ]Join me in letting teachers know we stand behind them and appreciate
all they do for our communities by signing our Thank You card!

Thank you for supporting the essential frontline workers who help our
children learn and grow.
