Our official Fall 2021 Priority Campaigns have been voted on by our members recently and with the largest vote in chapter history have passed two Priority Campaigns! Housing Justice & Formation of Tenant Unions in Summit County and Political Education!

Kick-starting our Housing Justice priority, our members recently joined Community Legal Aid and The Freedom BLOC in supporting people interested in forming a tenant union to build power and fight against unsafe and inaccessible housing. Ready to learn more and engage in these efforts? Join us for our Housing Justice & Formation of Tenant Unions campaign meeting on Saturday, October 16th at 2 PM on Zoom!

Continuing a DSA filled weekend, our Political Education priority campaign meeting will be held on Sunday, October 17th at 5 PM on Zoom! In order to build a revolutionary organization in Akron, we must apply Marxist dialectics to our historic and current-day struggle. Join us as we share ideas and build out our priority campaign on Political Education!

Mark your calendars for a great event at Virginia Kendall in CVNP on Saturday, October 23rd! We will be singing labor solidarity songs and spending time with our comrades. All are welcome and more information will be available soon!

Finally, our October General Meeting will be on Wednesday, October 20th at 7 PM on Zoom. Join us to hear local campaign updates and learn easy tasks you can do from home to support national's DSA for USPS: Dump DeJoy campaign.
