John:
A comprehensive paid leave policy would lift up America’s working-class families. Now, as part of the Build Back Better package, we finally have the opportunity to make that happen.
Not only would a paid leave policy provide necessary protections to workers and families, but it would also revolutionize our country’s workforce for the better. Paid leave means employers can attract and retain talent, ultimately reducing employee turnover, and it makes sure that there is always a place for caregivers within our economy.
The House is currently considering a provision of the Build Back Better package that would create a universal paid family and medical leave program.
Today, we’re asking the rest of Congress to stand with Eric in passing a comprehensive paid leave policy as part of the Build Back Better package. If you’re with us in the fight for paid leave, will you sign our petition today?
Right now, the U.S. is the only industrialized nation in the world without a paid family and medical leave standard. Although some employers voluntarily offer paid leave benefits, only nine states have passed legislation requiring paid leave policies for all businesses.
Working-class Americans deserve paid leave protections. That’s why we’re asking Congress to pass a comprehensive paid leave policy as part of the Build Back Better package. If you agree, sign our petition today. >>
Thanks for your support,
