[link removed] [[link removed]] Our country is on the brink of an economic crisis, John.

Without the Senate acting to raise the debt ceiling, Social Security payments, veterans benefits, and military paychecks are all at risk of lapsing, causing disastrous repercussions for Americans and our economy.

What’s standing in the way? Republicans, who raised the debt ceiling under President Trump, are refusing to cooperate with Democrats, causing a stalemate in one of the most important decisions Congress can make.

The Senate MUST raise the debt ceiling to keep our country from economic hardship and to protect our most vulnerable Americans. Add your name to call on the Senate to raise the debt ceiling now→ [[link removed]]

Mitch McConnell and the Republican party are playing by their own rules — the same unjust rules used to confirm a Supreme Court justice during an election year but hold up confirmations when a Democrat is in power.

While Republicans are busy playing politics, time is running out to ensure folks who need their Social Security payments to live will receive them.

Enough is enough. The Senate must act to raise the debt ceiling before it’s too late and our country defaults on our payments.

If you’re with us, add your name here and show your support for Senate action on raising the debt ceiling. [[link removed]]
