Hey,
I'm writing today with some great news: we set a very high fundraising goal for the last quarter and, thanks to people like you, we surpassed it.
I can't thank you enough for everything you do to support our team.
Now here's what some people might call the bad news: we need to reach an even higher goal this quarter in order to defend the Senate Democratic majority next November.
Why? Because new Republican candidates are coming out of the woodwork right now, hoping for a head start in the polls while my colleagues and I do the hard work of trying to deliver for America's working families.
I don't see a higher goal as bad news, though. I believe we have an opportunity to prove that you, your family, your neighbors, and our entire team are still committed to enacting President Biden's agenda and delivering results.
That's why I'll continue reaching out to you in the months to come with updates on our progress, opportunities to get involved, and yes, the occasional fundraising request.
What we're building together is bigger than any one fundraising goal. We're fighting for a better future. And we're just getting started.
