Folks, Martin suggested I reach out and, in a moment, I’m going to ask you to sign up for updates on my campaign to represent New Mexico’s 2nd District in the U.S. House of Representatives. But first, I want to share a bit about why I’m running. New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District is my home and I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that our communities face, but I’ve also seen a multitude of untapped opportunities. I have seen both the struggle and the beauty of southern New Mexico, and I’m determined to do everything possible to see our families succeed. That requires leadership, innovation and dedication. It’s why I decided to jump into the race for New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District. It’s time for New Mexico’s 2nd District to have a new representative — one who will fight hard for economic justice, affordable housing, equal pay for equal work, high-quality healthcare for all, and so much more. I’m ready to build on our momentum in New Mexico after President Biden defeated Donald Trump. But the GOP is also doing everything in their power for my Republican opponent. With our slim Democratic majority in the House, it’s more important than ever to flip this red seat back to blue. Democrats have taken this seat before, and we can take it back now.
As City Councilor, I worked hard to deliver real results that both benefited my constituents and brought them together. I promise to bring the same work ethic to the House, where I will always put the best interests of my constituents first. We’ve got a long journey ahead of us, but it’s exactly what this powerful and resilient grassroots team is ready for. Please sign up to be a part of our team by adding your name to our email updates list. Thanks for standing with me. Gabe Vasquez |
