In an attempt at a “gotcha!” headline, Fox News accused Senator Tammy Duckworth of not paying taxes on her Illinois home.

The reality is, as a disabled veteran, Senator Duckworth is exempt from paying that property tax. But Fox News doesn’t care about the facts, and “veteran takes advantage of veteran benefits she earned” wouldn’t have made a catchy enough headline...
