John,

Today is a Day of Action for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS), and we're hosting a Twitter Storm RIGHT NOW.

Members of Congress are watching, so we need all the support we can get. Will you join us and our partners on Twitter and remind Congress that #CareCantWait? Retweet, share, and tell your own story using the hashtag #CareCantWait to get involved! You can find our profile at [link removed]

You can also use our tool to send a tweet directly to your Representative and Senators. Already sent a tweet using our tool last week? We've updated the sample text so you can send another without repeating yourself! Get started: [link removed]

John,

Today is a crucial day for President Biden’s Build Back Better Plan and its bold proposal to transform caregiving. With so much on the line, we need to reach our elected officials RIGHT NOW, in the fastest way possible.

There’s one method of communication we know Congressional offices are checking all the time — some elected officials even get the notifications on their phones.

Will you Tweet at your elected officials, urging them to support caregiving?

When you click on the link, you’ll be taken to a form that asks for your address. Once you submit the form, it’ll identify your member of Congress and your two Senators, and will give you a pre-written tweet to send to each of them. You just need to be logged in to Twitter on the device you’re using.

Not on Twitter? You can send a message the old-fashioned way: by email. [[link removed]]

Members of Congress are deciding right now what our country's priorities will be for the coming years. We need our elected officials to know that investing in the care economy is a priority and that the investment in the care economy must be big and bold.

A bold investment in caregiving will ensure more of us can live at home as we get older, and will better support the caregivers who have done so much for our families throughout the pandemic.

Congress needs to hear from you loud and clear: Care Can’t Wait. They need to know that people care about this issue, and that they can’t get away with cutting caregiving supports in this plan. And the best way to do that is by filling up their mentions with tweets about care.

Will you join us by tweeting at your members of Congress today? It’s the most effective way to get through to them on a day as busy as this.

Send your tweets now. [[link removed]]

Or, if you don’t have Twitter, send them an email instead [[link removed]] .
