AYD Knocktoberfest Trivia Night

Join the Arlington Young Democrats, candidates, and local Democratic leaders and guests for a night of socializing and trivia on Saturday, October 9th at 6pm! Extra points will be given to attendees for canvassing before the event and the winning team will receive $100 to donate to the charity/campaign of their choosing. AYD Canvass: Dan Helmer & VA Dems

Join us for an AYD Canvass for Dan Helmer & VA Dems! We’ll be meeting up at Clarendon’s Northside Social on Saturday, October 9th at 9:00am to carpool out by 9:10am in order to arrive in time to canvass from 10am-1pm. We should arrive back in Arlington by approximately 2pm.

Please come dressed to walk around for a while (think: athletic clothing, tennis shoes, sunglasses, baseball cap or visor), and keep an eye on the forecast. We recommend you wear sunscreen, bring water and snacks, and come with a fully charged phone as we will be using a mobile app to canvass.

For safety regarding COVID-19, we ask that all volunteers be vaccinated. Masks are also required for volunteering.

Let's Get Vaccinated, Virginia!

Everyone in Virginia Age 12 or Older Is Eligible for the COVID-19 Vaccine Now! Pre-Registration is No Longer Required.

Certain groups are now eligible for a COVID-19 booster, if they received the Pfizer vaccine and if it’s been 6 months or more since their last shot.

We recommend these groups receive a booster this fall:

Ages 65 and older
Residents in a long-term care setting
Ages 50-64 with an underlying medical condition.

In addition, these groups may also benefit from a booster this fall:

Ages 18-49 with an underlying medical condition
Ages 18-64 with an increased risk COVID-19 because of where they work or live.
