Our campaign to rescue vetted Afghans who worked for US or government forces has entered a new and very critical phase. We continue to receive hundreds of emails a day from Afghans on the run, including countless graphic photos and videos from people whose family members have been tortured, killed and kidnapped by the Taliban. We've sucessfully put together an extensive network of safehouses all over Afghanistan and are coordinating the efforts of many private organizations on the ground to get people to these safe houses and out of the country. 

Clarion Project has become a central organizing force in this rescue effort and we are enabling literally thousands of lives to be saved!

We deeply appreciate your continued financial support for these efforts and your patience as we regroup our team to do this urgent life-saving work in addition to our open-source intelligence work and extremism reporting.

Costs for safehouses range from $200/month for totally abandoned buildings, to $1,200 per month for the best options. Food, transportation, medicine, diapers and clothing are in addition to these costs. Your contribution of $200 or more will save at least 7 people from being killed or sold into sexual slavery.
