John, after Terry’s first email today flopped, I was starting to get worried.

But, holy cow, I just checked ActBlue, and now things are really humming. We’ve almost raised $150,000 in the first day of our $500,000 three day goal push. It’s a huge start, and I am grateful for everyone who’s stepped up to make day one so strong.

Look, John, I know hitting a $500,000 goal in three days is a tall order for any grassroots team, but after my last email flopped, I just asked my team if anyone even reads these emails.

If folks are reading this, they’ll know that I’m running against Glenn Youngkin, a right-wing culture warrior who’s been endorsed by Donald Trump 4 times.

They’ll also know that The Cook Political Report recently downgraded the Virginia Governor’s race from “leans Democrat” to “toss-up.”

Not to mention experts from POLITICO to The Washington Post are saying Democrats aren’t enthusiastic right now — that they’re ready to just let Trump’s handpicked candidate win.
