We can’t emphasize this enough: 2021 has been a dangerous and devastating year for abortion rights.
Just this year, anti-abortion state lawmakers across the country have introduced nearly 600 pieces of legislation to make it more difficult or impossible to access abortion and other reproductive care — including the recent, draconian 6-week abortion ban in Texas.
Affirming every person’s right to reproductive freedom has never been more urgent. That’s why we’re keeping up the pressure on Senate Majority Leader Schumer and President Biden to swiftly pass and enact the Women’s Health Protection Act — Ayanna’s bill to guarantee equitable access to safe, legal abortion care nationwide.
It’s important for us to know how much support we have behind our movement for reproductive justice from folx like you. That’s why today, we’re asking: Do you support safe, legal abortion care for every person?
Ayanna is at the forefront of the fight for reproductive justice in Congress, and we’re making important progress to affirm abortion care as a fundamental human right.
