John,

Over the weekend we began to hear of significant mail delays in Virginia. The Governor’s seat and both legislative chambers are up for grabs in just 29 days. But now, Louis DeJoy’s USPS is “suddenly” dealing with enormous mail delays in the state.

Just after Democrats expand access to vote-by-mail in Virginia, cost-cutting measures spearheaded by Louis DeJoy could mean ballots are delayed. We’ve been alerting you of DeJoy’s plan to undermine vote by mail. People are finally paying attention.

John, can you chip in $25 to help us make sure voters in Virginia return their ballots early and so we can avoid the chaos created by these delays?

In 2020, over 962,000 Virginians voted absentee. This year it could be even higher. We can’t allow DeJoy to undermine vote-by-mail.

The outcome of Virginia’s off-year elections are famously a barometer of midterms. After President Obama was first elected, the Virginia results hinted at the upcoming Tea Party midterms. And after Trump was elected, Democrats’ victories in Virginia started the momentum for the taking back of the House in 2018.

We must win in Virginia to prevent radical Republicans from amassing more power and dismantling voting rights. Can we count on your support?

Thank you,

------------

Vote From Home is a grassroots movement that's fighting to expand vote-by-mail. We helped thousands of Democrats vote safely from home in Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia in 2020 and 2021. Now we're focused on stopping politicians and legislation who are making it harder for Americans to vote by mail.
