Conservative Democrats like Joe Manchin oppose policies like lowering the
Medicare age to 60 because they don’t want the government to provide more
Americans with guaranteed health care. Even if people are only a year away
from current Medicare eligibility.

Joe Manchin wants to "means-test" every policy, making them weaker, with
more loopholes, and harder for working families to get benefits.

Just a few days ago, Manchin specifically said he wanted to restrict who
could receive the Child Tax Credit. He wants to means-test that and every
other benefit. No wonder Democrats like him allowed many pandemic
unemployment benefits to expire.

Manchin to pass the $3.5 trillion spending bill and deliver economic
relief to the people. But this bill is just the beginning. Can you chip in
to fuel our fight? If we want to pass bigger and bolder legislation, we’re
going to have to elect more Justice Democrats.

It’s no surprise that Manchin’s interests align with the interests of Wall
Street, Big Pharma, and the fossil fuel industry. Corporations will
benefit from Manchin’s obstruction AND Manchin personally profits from the
fossil fuel industry.

Our fight for Medicare for All and a Green New Deal starts with holding
the line to pass a $3.5 trillion spending bill and beating back the
corporate influence in Congress. Then, we need to elect more Justice
Democrats to further empower the progressive voting bloc in Congress.
