In addition to expanding Child Tax Credit payments, and ensuring the lowest income families receive the full benefit, this legislation would close the Medicaid coverage gap to bring health care to 2.2 million more low-income Americans; invest in home- and community-based care services for the aging and people with disabilities; expand Medicare to include dental, hearing, and vision; invest in paid family and medical leave; provide free community college and pre-k for 3 and 4 year-olds; lower prescription drug prices by allowing Medicare to negotiate with drug companies; invest in housing, child care, and nutrition programs; provide legal status for millions of immigrants; and so much more!

Our Build Back Better investment agenda is being opposed by every single Republican in Congress, as well as the drug companies, the insurance companies, the fossil fuel industry, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Historic pieces of legislation are not advanced that often in Congress. This will not be an easy fight. But this is a fight we can win!
