Manchester votes in 12 days, and just like last time, the attacks on Joyce have gotten downright sexist. When we woke up this morning, a website had posted this article:

Yeah. There’s a conspiracy theory going around about the mayor’s face. It’s disgusting.

We’ve always known that the internet is a dark place for women trying to make a positive difference in their communities. That’s no surprise. It has been disappointing, though, to see just how many women are willing to join the attacks - including Joyce’s opponent.

These are the people we’re up against, and there’s still 12 days left for them to go even lower. Can you pitch in a contribution tonight to say enough is enough? 

Joyce works so hard each and every day to make Manchester a better place to live. These attacks are more than just unfair - they’re sexist. We need to send the message that this kind of rhetoric has no place in our city - and certainly not in City Hall.
