Today is Joe’s birthday! Groundwork allowed me to pop in here and let you know that we started a card for him, but thought it would be a great idea to have it signed by ALL OF YOU.

It’s been so exciting to watch Joe get Groundwork up and running this year. I know the amount of creativity, tenacity, late nights, and elbow grease it takes to start a brand new organization from scratch; Joe has been by my side these last few years as I built Neighborhood Villages, a non-profit dedicated to the fight for affordable, accessible childcare. So I’ve really loved watching him and his team take Groundwork from an idea to a real operation.
If there’s one thing I know, it’s that he wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. Your support and encouragement is everything to him. Will you sign his birthday card before James, Eleanor and I surprise him tonight with a birthday dinner? [[link removed]] [[link removed]]

Thanks for taking the time to sign! I can’t wait to show it to him.
