IATSE members are the working-class backbone of the TV programs, films, and streaming content that provide entertainment and comfort to millions around the world. They play a critical part in creating your favorite films and television shows. It is because IATSE members have put their health and safety on the line throughout the pandemic that the entertainment industry has remained afloat.

Now, 60,000 of these behind-the-scenes workers are mobilizing to win a union contract that guarantees basic human necessities like adequate sleep, meal breaks, and living wages from the wealthiest media corporations and studios in the world, and they need your support. They are fighting for more humane working conditions, like preventing excessively unsafe working hours, a living wage for all and a fairer cut from streaming services that have grown richer and richer.
