In a moment, I’m going to ask for your $3 donation to support a more inclusive Democratic majority, but I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain why:

I am inspired by our current administration and Congress -- we have the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House, and the first woman, Black person, and person of Indian descent to serve as Vice President.

It’s a beautiful thing to see our leadership diversifying, but there’s still so much work to do.

If we want to see truly progressive legislation, we need to make sure our legislative Majority and staff equally represent every community in our country.

I’m counting on a coalition of grassroots Democrats to stand with me, prioritize diversity in our own government’s ranks, and take action to make a change.
