With less than a month until Election Day, I wanted to tell you directly why I’m running to be Virginia’s next Governor.

We are running an historic campaign here in Virginia. Not only are we building the largest grassroots movement in Virginia history, but we’re running a campaign that speaks to the issues that matter most to Virginians.

And that’s exactly why I’m running.

I’m running because every single Virginia child deserves a quality education — which is why I will make the largest-ever investment in education in the Commonwealth’s history.

I’m running because every Virginian has a right to affordable, quality health care and prescriptions medications.

I’m running because we need a leader who will champion initiatives to curb gun violence in Virginia.

I’m running because the time has long passed for innovative strategies to secure our clean energy future.

And, I’m running because every single person in our Commonwealth deserves to live in a state where they have opportunities for success.
