RESPONSE NEEDED BEFORE MIDNIGHT
🚨 🚨 Republicans in Congress just ended negotiations for the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. 🚨 🚨
But let's be clear: Republicans gave up on police reform because they never supported it. There's still a clear and urgent mandate for national reform to fix our criminal justice and policing systems.
So we want to know:
Should Senate Democrats take matters into their own hands and END the filibuster to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act?
Your response will be instantly recorded. |
John,
Republicans were never serious about reforming policing.
Tim’s opponent, Jeff Van Drew, doesn't even believe there's systemic racism in law enforcement. This view is shared among many of the GOP members against common-sense reform. But they're wrong.
We will never see real change happen until WE do something about it — because self-serving leaders like Jeff Van Drew will NEVER stand up and do it for us.
So we want to know if you think Democrats should take matters into their own hands. We need you to answer one question:
Should Democrats END the filibuster to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act in the Senate?
Thanks for your response,
Team Alexander
