Donald Trump sold people out.

He came into office and told working people, “I got you.”

Then, he turned around and passed a tax bill benefitting the top 1% and
the biggest corporations in the country.

But we need to be clear: Donald Trump alone didn’t break our economy. For
too long, the rules have been written by the rich and powerful at the
expense of working families.

We cannot wait to take decisive action to fix our broken economy. Here is
what I will do as president:

* Repeal Trump’s tax scam and pass the LIFT Act to put money back in the
pockets of working and middle-class families and lift millions out of
poverty.
* Pass the Rent Relief Act, easing the financial burden on families
paying more than 30% of their income on rent.
* Empower and strengthen unions to protect workers and their hard-fought
rights, benefits, and pay.
* Enact Medicare For All, lower drug prices, and hold big pharmaceutical
companies accountable.
* Close the gender pay gap and ensure women receive equal pay as their
male counterparts for equal work.

I’m running for president to make sure every American gets a fair shot.
We’re going to fight for fair wages, affordable housing, and hold big
corporations accountable.

But the big corporations and the top 1% getting their way in Donald
Trump’s Administration won’t go down without a fight. If we’re going to
win, we all have to come together.
