My plan today was to ask for your help with our digital ads
campaign, but when I woke up this morning and scanned the news, I saw
something I had to address. Right here, right now.
A huge group of House GOP members protesting the impeachment
inquiry into President Trump stormed a critical deposition happening
as part of the investigation.
Why is that a problem? Because it demonstrates that President Trump
has roped a good portion of the Republican Party into his charade of
“no quid-pro-quo” (which, by the way, it was).
Everyone is entitled to their opinion on impeachment, everyone is
entitled to use the agreed upon rules of the chamber to voice their
concerns and opinions. But we’re in the midst of a
constitutional crisis, and to stoop to Donald Trump's level and resort
to these childish tactics is unacceptable.
Right now we have a party and a government that is all but consumed
with protecting a corrupt president at all costs. We have to act now, and
fight like hell to stop this madness before Donald Trump destroys both
beyond repair.
Can you chip in $50 right now to help us
spread the message that we can and should demand better from our party
and our president?
Thanks for fighting with me,
Bill
