It’s time to get ready for 2020, and last week we took a big step. At our Path to Power summit we brought together new and seasoned organizers from across Texas to share best practices and complete critical training they need as we enter 2020.

The energy in that room was contagious, team -- and I’m confident that every organizer there left ready to hit the ground running and help turn Texas into a true battleground state.

But the summit was only the beginning of our long journey towards the election year. Democrats’ path to power in Texas is clear, and it looks a lot like our summit agenda:

• A shared purpose and message heading into 2020
• Voter registration, particularly in under-represented communities
• Community events and volunteer recruitment
• Digital training and organizing
• Comprehensive organizer training

We know what we need to do to make Texas a battleground (we’ve been working on it for years) -- but we need your help to get there. Will you chip in now to help us keep up our training and community organizing efforts?
