Fox Business News’ Larry Kudlow summed up Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from
Afghanistan accurately in our conversation the other day:“It’s not a good
story…” – and if you watched our military leaders testify in the Senate this
week, I’m sure you’d agree.

Biden’s Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs
Gen. Mark Milley painted a picture of miscommunication and incompetence that is
profoundly disturbing.

In fact, they actually countered Joe Biden’s claim that he wasn’t apprised by
his military leaders about the threat of ISIS-K -- the radical Islamic
terrorists whose suicide attack killed 13 American service members and over 100
civilians trying to enter the airport in Kabul to escape the Taliban.

Fellow American, I’m doing all I can in the Senate to help get to the bottom
of Biden’s botched withdrawal:

* From the ill-preparedness of the Administration to deal with the withdrawal
* The tragic and deadly consequences for so many Americans and Afghan
allies, many of whom are still trapped in Afghanistan
* To the botched U.S. drone attack which killed an innocent family, and the
chaos left behind But to really hold the Biden Administration accountable, we
need the oversight only a new Republican U.S. Senate majority can give us.
